Underlying the bare-mare comments is a "git gud" mentality where people are, on the whole, extremely dismissive of anyone who struggled with any aspect of the game. But it does reflect an already ugly side of the community. People aren't being completely serious, of course-in the run up to a highly anticipated game's launch, fans are always looking for ways to blow off steam, and the Cry of Ashava has become an easy in-joke to rally around while they wait.

I'm behind a PC all day at work and sometimes I prefer console gaming (I LOVED how Diablo III felt and played back on the PS4). I usually buy a console and PC purchase of my most played games that offer cross-progression like this (such as Call of Duty games, for example). I just don't want to spend another $100 on the game, but I also don't wanna miss out on the content I'd like to have from my Ultimate Edition purchase on PS5. If I wanted to get Diablo IV on PC as well, would I need to get the Ultimate Edition there too, or will all of that from my PS5 Edition spill over? I know the Battle Pass stuff will cross over, but not sure on everything else. I purchased the Ultimate Edition on PS5, which has the Battle Pass and all the extra items, cosmetics and such between Blizzards various games.
